New Attractions, Grand Traditions highlight 22nd Pacific Northwest Nationals in Puyallup

The Northwest’s favorite summer rod & custom event, the Goodguys Pacific Northwest Nationals rumbles into the scenic Puyallup Fair & Expo Center July 24th-26th. The event features over 2,000 1972 & earlier rods, customs & classics, vendor exhibits, indoor car show, Builder’s Choice awards by Art & Craig Morrison, pin stripers brush bash, an all new automotive swap meet & cars for sale corral, Friday Night Drags at Pacific Raceways, nightly stage shows and parties, cruising – you name it it’s happening at the 22nd Pacific Northwest Nationals!

Swap Meet & Cars for Sale Corral!
A spectacular new automotive swap meet & cars for sale corral will offer hot rodders and brand new attraction at this year’s event! Featuring used parts only, the swap meet will have everything you’re looking for to complete that special project car! Plus you can but or sell the car of your dreams in the car corral! It’s the ultimate high performance for sale lot! To book your spot in the swap meet or car corral call John Salick 253.536.8996. Swap meet and car corral spaces are $55 at the event.

Morrison Builder’s Choice Awards:
Art and Craig Morrison, known worldwide for their Morrison Chassis products will be at the event throughout the weekend to hand pick the coveted Builder’s Choice awards! The Morrison’s will select ten Builder’s Choice awards so make sure and park in the Builder’s Choice area Saturday the 25th from 8am to 2pm to be eligible!

Friday Night Drags!
Friday night July 24th the place to be is Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington! A fun filled, tire smoking evening is on tap with five classes of competition as well as exhibition runs featuring the “Goran’s Gang” front engine dragsters and other exciting exhibition surprises! Here’s a look at what’s on the racing menu for this action packed evening!

Street Machine (1955 through 1972 vehicles only. No electronics, no NOS)
SM I – 7.50 ET to 11.99……………$400 win…..$150 runner up
SM II – 12.00 ET & Slower………..$300 win…..$100 runner up
Competition (NOS & Electronics OK)
Comp I – 7.50 ET & Slower………….$600 in……$300 runner up
